When Mahjoub's organic baklouti pepper flakes are heated in olive oil at the beginning of the production of a dish, they form an aromatic base note of Tunisian cuisine. These peppers are harvested when they are fully matured and dried in the sun for approximately 7 days. Resulting to a crispy texture that is crushed into flakes.
