Laudemio Frescobaldi Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a premium Tuscan olive oil produced by the historic Frescobaldi family in the Chianti Ruffina region of Tuscany. The name “Laudemio” dates back to the Middle Ages, when it referred to the finest and most prized portion of the harvest reserved for the lord’s table. Today, Laudemio represents the highest quality olive oil produced from Frescobaldi’s olive groves.

This extra virgin olive oil is made from early-harvest olives, primarily Frantoio, Moraiolo, and Leccino varieties, which are typical Tuscan cultivars known for producing robust and aromatic olive oils. The olives are harvested early in the season and pressed within hours at the estate’s own mill to preserve freshness, aroma, and flavor.

Laudemio Frescobaldi olive oil is known for its robust and grassy flavor profile. It has bold aromas of green olives and freshly cut grass, with tasting notes of artichoke, wild arugula, green tomato, and a peppery finish. The oil is well balanced with a pleasant bitterness and spiciness, both indicators of high-quality extra virgin olive oil rich in polyphenols.

Because of its bold Tuscan character, this olive oil is often used as a finishing oil and is sometimes referred to as “Tuscan ketchup,” meaning it can be drizzled over many dishes to enhance flavor.

This olive oil works especially well with:

• Cannellini beans
• Grilled steak
• Roasted vegetables
• Sautéed greens
• Bruschetta
• Tomato dishes
• Soups
• Pasta dishes
• Grilled meats
• Salads
• Drizzling over pizza

Robust, grassy, and intensely aromatic, Laudemio Frescobaldi Extra Virgin Olive Oil is considered one of the iconic Tuscan olive oils and represents the highest expression of traditional Tuscan olive oil production.
