Setaro Fettucce is a broad, ribbon-like pasta designed to provide a generous surface for rich sauces. Made in Torre Annunziata near Naples, it reflects the Setaro family’s artisan pasta tradition dating to 1939. The pasta is made with selected 100% Italian wheat and shaped through bronze dies using Setaro’s historic production approach, creating a porous texture that helps sauce adhere, before undergoing slow, low-temperature drying. Setaro lists Fettucce among its 30 cm long pasta shapes. Its wide ribbons are particularly delicious with substantial ragù, wild mushrooms, slow-cooked meat sauces, creamy preparations, or simply butter and Parmigiano Reggiano. Try it with porcini mushrooms for an earthy pairing or with a rich tomato-and-meat sauce that can fully coat each ribbon. The 1 kg package makes it an excellent format for a generous Italian meal.
