We have always been producers of chestnuts In the Langhe, but especially in the Roero.
We roast the chestnuts on the grill and then preserve it in a "light" cane sugar syrup. We thus have a preserved product with the same characteristics as freshly prepared roasted chestnuts but with unique organoleptic properties.
They are excellent to be tasted naturally, simply by opening the jar or using it to prepare delicious desserts, or even on ice cream. The syrup is great to drink!
It’s a product that is difficult to say ... enough!
