Imported from Italy, its aromatic recipe combines olive oil, basil, Grana Padano, Pecorino Romano, cashews, garlic, pine nuts, and citric acid, creating a vibrant balance of fresh herbal flavor, savory aged cheese, garlic, and nutty richness. It is sold frozen to preserve its freshness. Traditionally, Pesto Genovese is especially delicious with trofie, trenette, linguine, or gnocchi, but it can also be spread over focaccia and panini or spooned onto burrata, tomatoes, vegetables, fish, and chicken.
