Frantoio Muraglia Medium Fruity Peranzana Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced in Andria, in the Puglia region of Southern Italy, by the Muraglia family, who have been producing olive oil for five generations. The Muraglia estate is dedicated to preserving the biodiversity of the Apulian agricultural landscape and protecting ancient olive trees that are an important part of the region’s history and olive oil production.

This olive oil is made from Peranzana olives, a variety native to Northern Puglia known for producing elegant, aromatic, and well-balanced olive oils. Compared to the stronger Coratina olive oils from the same region, Peranzana olive oils are more delicate and balanced, with medium fruitiness, fresh herbal notes, and a smooth peppery finish.

Following traditional methods, the olives are harvested by hand and crushed using a stone mill, then cold extracted to preserve the natural aromas, flavor, and nutritional properties of the oil. The olive oil is packaged in Muraglia’s signature hand-painted ceramic bottles, made by local artisans in Puglia. Ceramic bottles protect olive oil from light exposure and help preserve freshness and quality.

This is a medium fruity olive oil, meaning it has a balanced flavor profile that is versatile for both cooking and finishing dishes.
