The Muraglia estate focuses on preserving the biodiversity of the Apulian agricultural landscape and protecting ancient olive trees, some of which are hundreds of years old. The oldest Coratina olive tree on their estate is estimated to be over 450 years old and produced olives for their very first pressing.
This olive oil is made primarily from Coratina olives, a variety native to Puglia known for producing olive oils rich in polyphenols, which contribute to both the flavor and the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil.
